One of the all time greats of Scottish traditional music is the centre of attraction at a unique gathering of leading musicians and singers.

An Lòchran, Glasgow’s Gaelic Arts organisation, celebrates the career of button accordion maestro and ceilidh band leader Fergie MacDonald with a star studded concert which will bring together leading artists such as Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain, the Gaelic supergroup Cliar and BBC presenter Morag Macdonald.

Fergie MacDonald’s 50-year career has seen him record over 23 albums and produce a series of videos and books as well as hitting the top spot in the Scottish charts in 1966 with ‘The Loch Maree Islands’.
