Scottish Ensemble Metamorphosen

City Halls : Grand Hall

Please Note: This is a past event event.

Don't worry we have plenty more current events to choose from.

Mirroring the contrasting emotions of the season, we dance our way towards one of the most beautiful and powerful works ever written, Richard Strauss’ Metamorphosen. It is perhaps Strauss’ most spiritual and deeply felt work, being a personal response to the world in 1945 and reaching extraordinary depths of emotional power. Senior students from the RSAMD join the Scottish Ensemble following an intensive period of study over the autumn term, and together promise a memorable evening.
