Don't worry we have plenty more current events to choose from.

Some of the biggest names in jazz and world music combine forces with the star soloists of Britten Sinfonia for this wonderfully imaginative take on one of the immortal masterpieces of the classical repertoire. Fuelled with an electric atmosphere, the sinewy structures of Bach’s greatest keyboard work explode into hot jazz improvisation and mellow towards moments of soothing, hypnotic coolness.

Moondog, the Manhattan street musician who dressed as a Viking and made his own instruments, also wrote 80 symphonies and counted Stravinsky, Frank Zappa and Julie Andrews among his biggest fans. These twelve short motifs combine Moondog’s love of Bach with Native American rhythms and breezy swing beats – a truly toe-tapping combination.
