In the presence of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra hosts the 54th Royal Concert as part of the Musician Benevolent Fund’s annual Saint Cecilia Celebrations. Thea Musgrave, doyen of Scottish ccomposers, returns to the Hall with a colourful piece that she composed for the Hall’s opening in 1990. This concert will be recorded for broadcast on BBC Radio 3.
