RSNO - The 09:10 Season: The Great Concertos: Mozart Clarinet Concerto

Glasgow Royal Concert Hall : Main Auditorium

Please Note: This is a past event event.

Don't worry we have plenty more current events to choose from.

One of the best loved classical works of all time forms the centrepiece of an extraordinary mix of exhilarating music. Weber’s breathtaking Overture to Der Freischütz introduces Mozart’s incredibly popular Clarinet Concerto, famously used as the theme from Out of Africa. Then, two musical tributes by one composer to another: Brahms’ delightful set of Haydn variations, before the programme returns full-circle with Hindemith’s brilliant and exciting homage to Weber.
