Returning to the RSNO for the first time in thirty years, Sir Andrew Davis is one of the UK’s most experienced and well-loved conductors. Alongside Schumann’s most popular Symphony and Tippett’s Ritual Dances will be Shostakovich’s Second Piano concerto – one of classical music’s jewels: flawless, multi-faceted, sparkling. The incomparable John Lill joins the Orchestra for this stunning work.
