The Great Concertos

Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto was the first Romantic concerto for the instrument, and set the benchmark for all to come in both its technical challenge and emotional satisfaction.

The RSNO welcomes the incredible young Latvian violinist Baiba Skride to play this most popular and cherished concerto of the repertoire under the baton of RSNO Conductor Emeritus Walter Weller.
