RSNO Favourites

“The best of all,” said Tchaikovsky of his Pathétique Symphony.

Composed at the peak of his creative powers, this most passionate of works expresses the composer’s own love and struggle with life; tragically, the beloved composer was dead within days of conducting its premiere.

Liszt’s popular Piano Concerto No1 is one of the most virtuosic in the repertoire – but its heights will be dramatically conquered by the great John Lill.

6:45pm Pre-concert talk with Katherine Wren (RSNO Viola).

Tickets:  £32, £24, £17.50, £13, £10
