Children's Classic Concerts Pirates Ahoy!

Glasgow Royal Concert Hall : Main Auditorium

Please Note: This is a past event event.

Don't worry we have plenty more current events to choose from.

Avast there me hearties and shiver me timbers! Cap’n “Blackbeard” Bell has given orders for all crew-members (including the orchestra!) to be dressed in their sea-faring finery as he sets sail aided and abetted by Alasdair “Awesome Al, the Paisley Privateer” Malloy for an action-packed afternoon of maritime music and nautical nonsense. Top tunes with the essential yo-ho-ho factor include Henry Wood’s Sailor’s Hornpipe, Leroy Anderson’s Pirate March and film music from Pirates of the Caribbean. Any landlubber failing to take part in Awesome Al’s cunningly conceived quiz, Nautical Notes, will be required to walk the plank, but pieces of eight will be won by the most swash-buckling pirates in our costume competition!
