Scottish Chamber Orchestra Mozart's Requiem

City Halls : Grand Hall

Please Note: This is a past event event.

Don't worry we have plenty more current events to choose from.

In a year which celebrates the life and work of Mozart, the SCO brings the season to an appropriate close with his magnificent Requiem. Andrew Manze, Director of The English Concert and hailed by The Independent as ‘among the most exciting of early music’s young blades’, leads the Orchestra, Chorus and a starry line up of soloist. The Requiem is preceded by a symphony by Joseph Leopold von Eybler, a lesser-known contemporary of Mozart whose work is worthy of a hearing today.
