RSNO - The 07:08 Season RSNO Favourites: Also Sprach Zarathustra

Glasgow Royal Concert Hall : Main Auditorium

Please Note: This is a past event event.

Don't worry we have plenty more current events to choose from.

Right from its spectacular opening Sunrise fanfare, Strauss’ tone poem Also sprach Zarathustra is one of the most instantly recognisable orchestral masterpieces, widely known for its use in 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Karen Gomyo makes her RSNO debut with one of the best-loved violin concertos by Dvorák.

Gomyo’s big sound, excellent tone, rich lyricism and, above all, compelling authority made her performance very pleasurable. (Houston Chronicle)

6:45pm – Pre-concert Talk: in the Exhibition Hall with Duncan Swindells (RSNO Principal Bass Clarinet)

Tickets:  £30, £22.50, £16.50, £12.50, £10
