Stéphane Denève’s Mahler cycle reaches the most expansive of the German’s mighty symphonies. Mahler’s Third is a unique and uplifting masterpiece, demonstrating his genius for stirring the soul. The work develops gracefully towards an incredible, emotionally overwhelming conclusion.

Monumental, shattering…gripping drama…a tumultuous ovation from the big crowd…it left this listener pinned to his seat. (Michael Tumelty, The Herald)
