Christy Moore is one of the most compelling and inspirational Irish musicians of our time. His music illustrates life’s important moments with insight, pathos and humour.
In the early 70s, he was instrumental in bringing Irish music into the mainstream, and was a founding member of Planxty. His career spans an amazing 40 years, and includes over 30 recorded releases, whilst his live performances have run the gamut from small folk clubs in Ireland and England to premier concert halls throughout the world.
We’re delighted to welcome him back to the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, along with his long-term collaborator and sometime producer Declan Sinnott.
