Francesco Corti is well-known to Scottish audiences as the dynamic Music Director of Scottish Opera.

This concert is a chance to see him out of the pit as he leads our own Symphony Orchestra in music from his homeland with two of Respighi’s famous tone poems, Fountains of Rome and Pines of Rome. As well as there is music from Spain in de Falla’s Three Cornered Hat, and from France with the virtuosic Rapsodie by Debussy, featuring one of our star clarinet students Fraser Langton.
