Please Note: This is a past event event.

Don't worry we have plenty more current events to choose from.

Electroscope return to the Recital Room following their triumphal 21st century debut there earlier in the year.

This duo existed from 1996-2000 releasing 104 titles in four years, attempting to bridge the gap between Joe Meek and the United States of America. They are now working excitedly on a new album for release in 2012, following a decade recording solo as Pefkin and Phosphene.

Gayle Brogan and John Cavanagh will bring an array of instruments to the stage, including a VCS3 synthesizer (once described as a “pure magic wee pinball machine”), a 1950s radio microphone, a vortex of vocals and, if they can find one before the night, a Nietzschephone.

Their performance will be accompanied by a magical light show and a screening of The Delian Mode, the award winning documentary on Delia Derbyshire by Kara Blake. The film is shown with kind permission from the director.
