Michael Boyd is known to Glasgow audiences for his eleven-year tenure at the Tron Theatre. Michael was born in Belfast, went to University in Edinburgh and trained as a theatre director in Coventry and Moscow before becoming director of the Sheffield Crucible Theatre. Now Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, he gives us his take on producing theatre on both sides of the Atlantic.
