The acclaimed NYCoS National Girls Choir will be joined by conductor Christopher Bell and world class pianists Philip Moore and Andrew West for an impressive performance of music by composer Richard Rodney Bennett – renowned for his film scores and his jazz performance as much as for his challenging concert works.
A highlight will be Letters to Lindbergh, a fanciful piece based upon Charles Lindbergh’s famous transatlantic flight on board his trused aeroplane, The Spirit of St Louis.
The younger section of the Choir, NYCoS National Girls Training Choir, conducted by Mark Evans, will also perform a varied repertoire including a selection of songs from NYCoS’ latest publications.
