Fair Pley and Ethical Events (Scotland) present a Gala Concert to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the UCS Work-In.
A unique evening including performers old and new, including some who played at benefit concerts for the workers during the Work-In.
The Guest of Honour is Tony Benn.
Performers include: Jimmie Macgregor, Pat Kane, Dave Anderson, Rab Noakes, Arthur Johnstone, Fraser Speirs, Kevin McDermott, Simone Welsh, plus special guests to be announced. The evening will premiere the specially-commissioned Work-In at UCS: A celebration suite, composed by Eddie McGuire and performed by the Whistlebinkies, Alba Brass and Sax Ecosse.
Sponsored by UNITE the Union, with support from GMB, Scottish Trades Union Congress, Musicians’ Union, Performing Rights Society Foundation and Awards for All.
