Please Note: This is a past event event.
Don't worry we have plenty more current events to choose from.

The BBC SSO’s 2011/12 Afternoon Performance concert seasons open with a selection from the exquisite versions of Debussy’s24 piano preludes. There’s also a rare performance of a work composed by Vaughan Williams in the 1930s, dedicated to the great British violist ,strong>Lionel Tertis and played here by Lawrence Power. Borodin wrote intensely dramatic music, and his Second Symphony reveals itself to be a particularly vigorous Russian romp
