Projects
ASN Schools Optimusic
The project, which is now in its fourth year, gives children and young people from Additional Support Needs Schools across Glagsow the opportunity to work with our interactive sound and lightbeam system, Optimusic. Optimusic is an audio-visual system of sixteen brightly coloured light beams which, when triggered, activates a wide range of instrumental, environmental and other sounds. During the workshops children are encouraged to explore and have fun with the light beams through specially designed musical activities.
This year we have a new team of tutors delivering the project who are developing new and exciting ways of working with the system. We have also recently opened up the project to include language units that are attached to mainstream schools giving more children and young people the opportunity to access this unique and wonderful resource.
