About

Comprising a diverse range of spaces for every occasion, the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall has played host to many amazing cultural events, including annual folk and roots festival Celtic Connections and the World Irish Dancing Championships. The Hall is also the home of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

The Main Auditorium is the largest performance space in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, and can seat 2,475 people. Other spaces in the hall include the 400 capacity Strathclyde Suite, the 300 capacity Exhibition Hall, the 120 capacity Buchanan Suite and multiple other breakout spaces.

It’s not all about music though, and we want your entire visit to the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall to be special. Make the most of your experience and take a wander through our exhibition space and gift shop, take advantage of our wifi access throughout the building, or sample the delicious menu in our Café Bar.

STACK-CUP at Concert Hall events
We’re working to reduce our use of single use plastic cups at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. Our new partnership with STACK-CUP aims to save over 200,000 single use cups per year from ending up in landfill. Roughly 6 tonnes over a three year period.

It’s good news for you too! These sturdy cups can be easily stacked using their innovative handle designs. This makes them much easier to carry than traditional plastic cups.

Purchasing your drink with STACK-CUP is simple:
1. Pay a £1 deposit per cup when you buy your drinks
2. Enjoy your drink!
3. Swap your used cup at the bar for a new one on your next order
4. Return your cups to the return points at the end of the event to receive your
        £1 per cup refund.
