City Halls Experience Days offered pupils from Glasgow’s primary and secondary schools the opportunity to experience the very best of City Halls facilities. Activities on offer included open rehearsals with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, concerts performed by musicians from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, creative music making workshops with leading animateurs, instrumental workshops with the Celtic Connections education team, visits to the Scottish Music Centre and technology workshops in our state of the art ICT Suite and using our interactive sound and light beam system, Optimusic. Each day was specially tailored to meet the needs, interests and abilities of the children and young people taking part.
City Halls Experience Days were funded by the Scottish Arts Council.

City Halls Experience Days were delivered by Glasgow Concert Halls, Celtic Connections, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Glasgow Education Services and the Scottish Music Centre.
