About Learning and Participation
Our Learning and Participation programme aims to provide high quality, diverse and innovative music learning and participation opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.
We do this by:
- providing diverse and inspirational music education activities, resources and services for the citizens of Glasgow and beyond.
- offering initiatives to education establishments, including pre-schools, schools, colleges and universities which enhance the curriculum and encourage musical development.
- providing amateur musicians and professionals in the music industry with a set of skill-development, participation and training opportunities of the highest quality.
- using multimedia technology to broaden and enhance the activity within City Halls and enabling it to reach wider audiences.
150,000 attendances in the learning and participation programme at City Halls during our first four years.
The programme is delivered by
Glasgow's Concert Halls
We manage and deliver a wide programme of activities both within City Halls and throughout the City which complement the activities provided by our City Halls Learning partners and enhance the overall provision within our Learning Programme. GCH enjoy working in partnership with a range of arts organisations.
